Intuitive entrepreneurship

Definition

Building a venture in which the founder's calibrated intuition is treated as a primary source of strategic information, alongside data and reasoning, rather than as a decoration on top of them.

Why it matters

On compressed timelines and incomplete data, the founders Andrei has watched succeed do not out-analyse the room — They out-listen it. Intuition is fast, cheap, and idiosyncratic; calibrated intuition is the unfair compounding advantage of a small founder against a slower, larger competitor.

Example

Killing a near-PMF feature because it 'feels load-bearing on a fragile assumption', then proving that out three weeks later when the assumption breaks.
