Social domestication
Definition
The cumulative process by which family, school, religion, and culture install in a child a set of beliefs, roles, and reflexes that come to feel like 'who I am'.
Why it matters
In Prisoner of the Mind, social domestication is the cage. Most adult suffering is not caused by reality but by inherited rules nobody has audited. Naming the process is the first step in the book — The move from being the avatar to being the commander of the avatar.
Example
A founder grinding for a brand of success they never explicitly chose, only inherited from the school-and-status pipeline they grew up inside.
